Homemade Banana (or whatever flavor you want) Ice Cream

1 pt heavy cream
1/2 can sweet and condensed milk (7 oz)
2 tsp banana extract

Put it all in a bow and whip it at least 3 minutes with electric hand mixer. Put in container and cover with plastic wrap, put the plastic wrap right on top of the ice cream so there is no air between them. Then just freeze for a few hours, may take a while.

The first time I made it I made chocolate and used 6 oz of Nesquik chocolate syrup and I didn't whip it long enough and some of the chocolate settled down toward the bottom but it was still all good the bottom was just more chocolatey.

You can use whatever flavor you like even coffee.

Banana ice cream with chocolate syrup
The sweet and condensed milk comes in 14 oz can and you only use half of it so I'd make a double batch, LOL I made 1 chocolate and 1 banana last time, think I'll try a combo next time.

It can be a bit pricey but think it is cheaper that Haagen Dazs. It's great for a special treat.

Tip: use a deep enough bowl when whipping, last time I got chocolate all over the place, LOL
