Cable companies need to change their advertising model. Advertisers are not sold that they are getting their dollar's worth for traditional TV ads. NFLX will be getting ads as they roll out more of their original programming--if they do not, NFLX will not be able to cover their programming costs.

This battle will be interesting. Will NFLX viewers not care about ads on original programming? Will NFLX raise the subscription rate again? Do viewers stay despite the price increase?

Lots of questions. For now, the NFLX price is benefiting from a narrowing bull market.
