After having a beer, the customer asks......
the bartender for the tab. "$3" says the bartender.
The customer wants to have a little fun with the guy so he places a one dollar bill in front of him and the other two at the opposite ends of the bar.
The bartender gives him a dirty look but has no choice but to pick them up. This goes on for the next several days and each time the bartender feels humiliated. The next day, the customer orders a beer but can't find three one dollar bills in his wallet to pay the bill, so he hands the bartender a $5 bill. Now the bartender gets all excited and feels it's his time to get revenge on the asshole customer. He gives the customer his $2 in change by placing them at the opposite ends of the bar, and with a shrewd smile and all the excitement of a kid at Christmas, he says to the customer, "Well, go ahead, pick up your change." The man then takes a $1 Bill from his pocket, places it on the bar and Says "One more beer, please."
