NOV inks 10-year service deal with Transocean
Agreement covers 15 rigs , focuses on limiting downtime with data-driven solutions

Oilfield equipment maker National Oilwell Varco has signed a 10-year service and support agreement for 15 rigs owned by contracting giant Transocean.
The deal will incorporate some of NOV's top drilling technologies, global aftermarket service and repair capabilities and data-driven solutions.
NOV said the agreement will help maximise uptime and reduce total cost of ownership for the rigs' drill-floor equipment. No deal value was disclosed.
