Just found out last night after 100 years in Erie, PA (my hometown), the entire GE locomotive plant/operations left will finally be silenced and closed down!

That was the only long standing hitch pin for the Erie, PA economy for generations, and now it will be completely closed up- no more locomotive manufacturing there...
