In an attempt to intimidate Trump to protect his Russian benefactors vs. protecting the U.S., Russia announced today they will retaliate against the Senate's overwhelming 98-2 vote to impose strict sanctions against Russia.
A tough call for Trump - either he continues to protect Putin/his financial benefactors and vetoes the Senate bill, a veto that would be overridden, or he upholds his sworn duty to put the U.S. ahead of his own interests.

Of course, Trump could again resort to blaming Pres. Obama and Hillary Clinton for his own failure to lead.
