Bigworld, Here's a good site for following the Bitcoin/crypto sector -

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-price/

The link is to the chart section, but at the top of that page you can get to the news sections which are excellent. In addition to Bitcoin, the main cryptos to follow are Ethereum and Litecoin. There's a lot more to know than I expected - a lot of complexity to this sector.

In the charting section, for Bitcoin measured in dollars use BTCUSD, Ethereum is ETHUSD, and Litecoin is LTCUSD. If you play around with the charting features you can put in up to 3 TA/technical parameters in at one time for free (more with a subscription). I use the Stochastic RSI and Bollinger Bands, which are very useful, and keep things simple.

You can use the site to chart any stock, but to view the Bitcoin fund/ETF (GBTC), the Stockcharts.com site is the best. But I haven't been able to generate charts on Stockcharts.com for the crypto currencies themselves, so for that there's the crypto site linked above.

Fwiw, last week a Goldman Sachs analyst came out with a 3700 target for Bitcoin in the not too distant future. Currently it's in the 2650 area, having pulled back from 3000, which it tested in both June and July.

Cryptos are the wild West right now, with hedge funds and Goldman Sachs getting involved. I figure I'll just watch for fun, but it may still be early and there's probably a lot more upside before the party ends, but who knows. Either way, for entertainment it sure beats watching Dancing with the Stars..
