So here's my thinking...with the 5:1 recently, it leaves DRYS much more able to get 1000 small investors at $1+ to rid themselves of the remainder of their debt, than to attract 100 big investors at a much higher pps in light of their history. Not so sure they'll need another RS with approx 40 mil left to deal with.

The markets appear to be signaling the risk/ reward ratio might be worth it at a buck relative to where the outstanding derivatives are and the likelihood it will be over and done with by next week.

The $1mil question is whether there's enough interest here to keep pps above that buck. Tomorrow should be somewhat telling.
