That is odd.

Feinstein made such a big deal over the fact that the Desert Hot Springs facility was already connected to the power grid and his competitors would have to wait several years to get hooked up.

Their tenant, Clonenetics Labs has this splashy news on the from page of their website from February 2017. But nothing from them since. They are still listed as being in Desert Hot Springs.

Pineapple owned the buildings and the land. Maybe they received an offer that was just too much to pass on. Or maybe this story had more merit than what the company said:
