The practical nature of AR is obvious to reasonable people at this point.

It seems, with good reason, that more confidence is placed on the companies with very large pocketbooks to bring AR (and VR) to successful implementation than a small company like Vuzix.

The encouraging thing to me is that Vuzix has what some of these big guys can use to be successful themselves with the hardware. Timothy Harned's appointment to the BOD with his expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions indicates some possibilities are being assessed.

The potential of AR is undeniable. VUZI is an exciting company for me, however, there is the possibility that it goes the way of Sinclair in the early days of personal computing. I also remember Apple in those days. Microsoft on the software end was more successful immediately way back then.

We are undeniably watching something of tremendous proportions unfolding. Vuzix is part of it, but not the whole story.
