It's a common trading mindset. Here's how it works:

1. I need money bad, and OWCP is the only one not proven to be a pump and dump just yet.

2. Since I really need the money, and if OWCP turns out to be a P&D, I have no other options, so I have to believe that OWCP is legit.

3. There is no way for me to become a millionaire if OWCP makes no cream. In other words, if my account depreciates due to tankage, it's the same as if I don't invest. Therefore I must believe that there will be a cream

4. I have $1000. I don't know if OWCP will turn my 1000 into 100,000, but I know that no other stock will. I also know that losing $1000 vs not investing it at all makes no difference, so I might as well just pray that OWCP will bail my life out.

This is a very passive and suicidal mindset and OWCP has been feasting on it.
