Are you saying the company should not share updates with investors? Or they should not have an investor relations dept.? Are you suggesting the CEO do the updates? Like President Trump does via TWITTER? The fact that you stated the IR dept. is running like a well oiled machine. May be the reason that the share price is holding up so well after the split.
Every time I got hit with a split. The share price always dropped in value. Even lower than pre-split share value.
