Rodney Guzman, CEO/CDO/Co-Founder/Owner at InterKnowlogy Chief UX Designer & Architect of InterKnowlogy, established in 1999. His day consists of working with C-Level Fortune 500 and above clients, and technology and UX design consulting. Rodney has expert knowledge across web and native apps for phone, tablet, and desktop apps, with expertise in scaling with cloud architecture. Rodney has a passion for natural user interface technologies that span touch and gesture, and he leads the design team to create high impact experiences. He has been a MVP Solution Architect and served on Microsoft’s Architecture Advisory board. Rodney has been recognized as one of the top architects in the world with over 25 years of professional experience in creating solutions. He also serves on the InterKnowlogy Executive Team and is involved in the daily operations of the company.
Tim Huckaby is an industry luminary focused on Engaging User Experiences, User Interaction Design and the Natural User Interface (NUI) as applied with software in systems of all industries. Mr. Huckaby’s expertise encompasses NUI as Touch, Gesture, Voice and Neural interfaces as applied by a number of compelling software technologies on many software and hardware platforms on a broad spectrum of devices.

Mr. Huckaby has been called a “Pioneer of the Smart Client Revolution” by the press. Mr. Huckaby’s uncanny prediction of locally installed, native application popularity became true. This prediction of The Smart Client Revolution was the predecessor to the app store phenomena we see today where applications are downloaded from an application store and installed natively on the device as contrasted to using web applications in a browser.

Mr. Huckaby has been awarded many times for the highest rated technical & industry presentations and keynotes for Microsoft and many other industry & technology conferences like CES and events all around the world. Mr. Huckaby is consistently rated in the top 10% of all speakers at these events. Having worked for or with Microsoft for over 25 years, Mr. Huckaby has been on stage with, and done numerous keynote demos for many Microsoft executives including Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer.

In 1999 Mr. Huckaby founded InterKnowlogy, a custom application development firm that creates high-impact software experiences and continues to flourish over 15 years later. In 2011 Mr. Huckaby founded Actus Interactive Software, which licenses a suite of Interactive Digital Signage products, as a product company compliment to InterKnowlogy. Mr. Huckaby founded both companies and serves each of them as Chairman.

Mr. Huckaby has 35 years of technology experience including serving on a Microsoft server product team as a development lead on an architecture team. Mr. Huckaby worked on some famous and not so famous Microsoft Server codebases in the late nineties. Mr. Huckaby is a Microsoft Regional Director, a Microsoft MVP and serves on many councils and boards like the Microsoft Application Development Partner Advisory Council and the Microsoft Healthcare Executive Board and the Association for Competitive Technology.

Posterior Urethral Valve Disorder (PUV) is a very difficult disorder to diagnose. It’s a condition that affects 1 in 8000 boys and has less than a 2% survival rate if not addressed in time. When Tim Huckaby (Co-Founder of InterKnowlogy) heard the personal story described in the video, he and the IK team got to work.
With some experimenting IK was able to create a solution that combined Azure Computer Vision with Machine Learning that yielded a consistently accurate diagnosis, in near real-time. IK was able to leverage inexpensive hardware, which is readily available, and could be easily be obtained by doctors and healthcare professionals everywhere.
This technology easily improves upon the accuracy and speed of mainstream technologies like X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound while also significantly reducing cost. The portability of this Azure technology can also assist large rural populations that depend on remote centers, which often do not have in-house expertise.
