The Matchaah Story...
Born from a discovery of matcha tea on a trip, our founder fell in love with the health and functional benefits from the first sip. He loved the clean energy and the mental clarity known as the infamous “calm alertness” experience only found in matcha tea. Getting all the nutrients and powerful antioxidants of matcha tea would otherwise require consuming multiple foods, beverages or supplements. Realizing the preparation of matcha tea was time consuming — involving the ancient Japanese ritual of whisking tea — he knew the pace of modern life would require more convenience. So to continue to get the unparalleled benefits of matcha, he set out to find a fun, flavorful and convenient way to enjoy matcha tea. This was the a-ha moment that started it all.
As he surveyed the beverage aisles, he saw dozens of new beverages flooding the market — with claims of clean energy, metabolism boosting, mega doses of antioxidants and more. Yet the labeling didn’t clearly communicate the specific benefits and exact number of antioxidants - none could meet the level of antioxidants and functional powers of matcha tea. He set out to produce a convenient line of matcha tea products anyone could enjoy — whether they like tea or not. He wanted to compress centuries of tea culture and great-tasting beverages in formats people already knew and loved. MATCHAAH!TM was born.
