As born-again believers we often talk about the importance of our witness and testimony to the unsaved...to a fallen world. So what all does that actually involve? Well...we go to church and we go tote'in our Bibles. We talk about Jesus every chance we get not just to the saved people we know but also to the unsaved folks we know and dont know. We tell folks our story of how Jesus saved us from eternal damnation and we invite people to surrender their life and live for Jesus. We work at church activities and charities and we try and help people in our communities as often as we can be it we know them or not. So this is a short list but i know y'all know what im drivin at here. We live our life with the light of Jesus shining from us in a way that when the unsaved world sees us that at some point in time they start to say....man...i want what they got! So now lets flip the coin over. When in the presence of others...the unsaved. Do we sometimes laugh at or tell a ungodly joke? Do we sometimes let a bad word fly? Do we sometimes fly off the handle? Do we sometimes allow folks to see us leaving a movie or some other gathering that cussing a blue streak...sex...filth...was taking place by word or action? Do we gossip...do we talk about people? Do we complain and gripe about this , that and the other? Do we sometimes get a little buzz on with friends? This is just a short list of things that sometimes born-again believers get caught up in and even if we try and live our life the best most of the time...when the unsaved see us doing these things you know what they are thinking...look at the christian...just like me...the hypocrite! Once we tarnish our witness and testimony to the unsaved...its pretty much tarnished. So...how does the unsaved see us...living like the world or living like Jesus...because...they are watching like it or not...and...my actions might turn someone off to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in that i have a hand in them splitting hell wide open...right?...i dont need that on my conscience....how about you?
