a|44: I think that homelessness reflects the state of the housing market. Home ownership has gotten a lot lower since the real estate bubble burst, and one of the results is astronomical rental costs.
That causes people to end up on the street--they cannot afford rent.

I think this is not an economic crisis; I think it is a housing crisis.

I didn't like that article. The author jumps from the stock market to bums sleeping on benches.
