The following facts are from inside sources of Osun State govt of Ogbeni Raufu Aregbesola. These according to sources, are just a tip of the iceberg on how Osun State was fleeced of several billions of Naira, which effectively plunged the State into financial stagnation and humongous debt burden. ***Four major road construction contracts have been awarded by Aregbesola in the last seven years and the awardees are Messrs Ratcon Nigeria limited owned by the governor and some of his friends, Messrs Slava Yeditepe with Alhaji Razaq Okoya’s last wife as front even though it’s also owned by the governor and his friends, Messrs Hongye International Nigeria Limited , also disguisely owned by the governor but with a former Lagos finance commissioner, Wale Edun as front and Messrs Sammya Nigeria Limited owned also by the governor but with Mr. Sam Adigun (his wife’s nephew) as front.

****These four companies have been awarded contracts running into hundreds of billion of naira by the Aregbesola government over the last seven years.

****Through these companies, a total of over N40b have been siphoned out of the meagre resources accruable to Osun state government over this same period despite the fact that just two out of the four companies have the technical and financial wherewithal to undertake projects of the magnitude for which they ate being used.

****Of these four companies, none has performed to the level for which payment vouchers have been raised for their overbloated projects. In fact, most of the major roads awarded are today either at 10/15% work done or are completely abandoned.

****Aregbesola nefariously contracted one of his friend’s wives who owns Sam & Sara garment factory in Ikeja GRA to undertake the sewing of school uniforms for students of public schools throughout Osun state at the detriment of the over 5,000 teeming local tailors in Osun state. This project cost the state government well over N2b and is now obviously unsustainable. This is evident by the fact that the consequence of this selfish and wicked decision is the wearing of rags by students throughout the state. Matters are at their heads as 60% of these students’ parents are civil servants who haven’t received a full salary since July 2015!

****O’reap, O’Hub and O’Clean are the three most fraudulent programmes of the Aregbesola government. So much money has been spent on these three programmes headed respectively by Dr. Charles Akinola (O’Reap) and Hon Bola Ilori (O’Clean and O’Hub)

A visit to Dagbolu would lend credence to the fact that the billions of naira claimed to have been appropriated for the O’Hub programme ended in private pockets as the only thing you will see on the Osogbo-Oba-Ilie road is bush. Several branded trucks were procured by the state government, whereas no single coach of farm produce has ever left the precincts of Dagbolu for Lagos as projected by our billboard governor

***O’reap embarked on a lot of fruitless voyages to Harvard and other foreign institutions with a promise to improve on the plight of poor farmers in Osun state. The governor even gave O’reap the newly built due process office (by the Oyinlola government) in Abere with several vehicles also purchased for the same purpose. Alas! Billions of naira have also gone down the drains with nothing to show for it.
