Nope. ALKN, I repeat, is long gone. I have no idea who put that erroneous info in the iBox, and, since it had ZERO basis in reality, it is now gone.

There is ZERO chance of a merger here. EVER.

Further, please learn the difference between short volume, which is what you linked to--and meaningless, and short interest..which is zero.

You should know that only the first leg of a trade is reported... so, if the MM who gets a request for a trade has no shares, then that trade will be marked short. However, in almost all cases, there will be an immediate closing long entry... but the trade still shows up as part of the day's short volume.

There is no shorting here of any kind and never has been.

The stock only trades when its being pumped and dumped. The computer based MM system simply facilitates the trading.
