Basic knowledge:

The cheapest price an investor can purchase a stock at is .0001 cents a share.

Most people are willing to speculate and aren't thinking about negative "what ifs." If they are, they are thinking about positive "what ifs," which is why they are considering buying a stock in the first place.

The bet is.... Can new management in a new industry move this out of the trip ones?

No one knows that answer, but plenty are willing to speculate.
