Anavex Life Sciences Corp (AVXL)

While I definitely understand the negative optics and investor frustrations regarding the lack of substantive trial news recently and lack of aaic attendance this week; I'm remaining long as my opinion after following avxl since 2015:

a) the company is at significant risk from manipulation by competitors and short sellers if they divulge too much before their next trials are fully blessed by the FDA and the official announcements can be made public. Best to walk softly and carry a large stick. (Our CEO seems reticent to give our bashers anything to work with and they must've wasted a lot of time defending that frivolous lawsuit last year)

b) the recent FDA hire several months ago seems a strong indication of management's confidence in the science; seems unlikely to me that could've changed so quickly in the last couple of months

c) the most recent Corp presentation from Jefferies conference in June 2017 on the co website seems indicative of continued effectiveness of the drug through recent data readouts (otherwise why make the claims that they make in that presentation and subject the co to legal problems? Seems they would be sensitive to that by now)

d) I'd have to believe that the company included the language in yesterday's P/R about efficacy and the definitive statement of "restores cellular homeostasis" and "about to initiate three clinical trials with significant unmet needs" as dots for us shareholders to connect during what appears to be a quiet period (is it an FDA/partner requested quiet period? Impossible to know for now)

e) Appears to me that many special interest groups and industries and large BP competitors stand to lose a lot with anavex's success, hence the attacks and lack of respect in the media/market

Of course hope is not an effective investment strategy, but the above factors/opinions are what keep me invested here. Go anavex
