Because they already said there was interest from Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Africa. These are also the countries that need the technology the most.

Yap said he already had been involved with some talks. When Tony was asked license deals or partnerships, he said both.

I wouldn't underestimate this. The most suitable partner would probably be one that owns one of the biggest prawn farms in the world. Regular ponds. I did mention one before that is losing money every year. Don't recall the name though. Companies like that.

Why not China? Perhaps the partners aren't excited about the prospects of direct competition. Perhaps other countries are more suitable for growing prawns because it's warmer during the winter.

If it happens, a strategic investment in CA, then the stock will fly. You won't need those share buybacks. It's a stupid idea anyhow. There are a number of ways to get the share price up. And share buybacks is a conflicting strategy because you want to buy it cheap, obviously. But then again, we don't want it to be cheap.
