Perhaps AMZN will take over everything in retail? I'm not convinced. Both HD and LOW are good stores where you can get things for a project and also advice on how to do it. Not everyone will be in the market for building materials shipped to your door from Amazon. Still, the online thing for shopping has exceeded the wildest expectations of most of us. The biggest question in my mind is when does the FTC step in and say no more? I don't think that is a possiblity with Lowes and Home Depot.
Of course I could be wrong in this, just as my father was back in the 1950s. He didn't think a store that sold fifteen cent hamburgers could compete with a sit down restaurant where a waitress served you your food on real china with knives and forks and a cloth napkin.
