clouts021, I agree with what you say about TDAmeritrade. However, I once read a lengthy article by a former MM confessing all his shenanigans as an MM. He confessed that they used trading volume as signals, such as I need more shares, take the price down or up, hold buy orders, etc. So it does happen.
