This morning i was listening to christian music at home and a tune played...(MercyMe - Even If)..and as i listened the tears started to roll down my cheeks...and out loud i said...Thank you Jesus!..as this awesome feeling rushed thru my body that let me know..."I Am" here Rick...now when this happened...im not stressed or worried about anything...as it seems i most often am not...im in a season of awesomeness loving the lord each and every day...life is good...actually great as it always seems to be! So what im getting at...for you born-again believers...its so cool when we are at church singing...or riding in the car or at home listening to Jesus music and we get that warm and fuzzy feeling...JESUS...or we are listening to a message at church or on the radio or TV and we get that feeling that all is well in the world...with my soul...and in and of all that...we get tears in our eyes..or down our cheeks...those goose bumps cover our body inside and out...and we know its JESUS letting us know He is with us ALWAYS! But for me...the most awesome times is when we are sitting in the quiet of the room...maybe just thinking or reading our Bible...and suddenly we feel the presence of the lord Jesus and as we know...its a feeling like no other! Those times when nothing influenced that feeling such as the things i mentioned...just Jesus letting us know that everything is going to be alright...even when nothing is wrong! Now folks...if you dont know Jesus as your lord and savior...this sounds all foreign to you...but let me tell you...this is very real. For me...ole Rick j Sane...i spent a good many years not caring about much of nothing including myself...and there was a good many years that a tear never left my eye...but you know what...when we surrender to Jesus He takes that old hard rock out of our chest and softens it up and puts it back in filled with joy..hope and peace...and let me tell you...i wouldnt swap it for 10 million dollars...The free gift of salvation...AWESOME!
