Anyone trying to understand the latest 8k and what it might be telling us?

I will admit that I am particularly poor at translating 8k's. But throwing this out for discussion.

Who owns 2.2 million warrants of MARA? That's a pretty short list.

If that question leads you to the same place it leads me, then the question is 'why'? Yes, it's a bit of a win for the investor in that likely the warrants are being exercised at less than their original value (does the 8k address this - couldn't find it) but even so, it represents an investment in MARA at this level that leads me to believe that someone believes that better times still lie ahead. Moreover, I am encouraged that the first instinct to get financing isn't full-fledged dilution - this is something short of that. And it does represent cash to us at a critical time.

Yes, this will likely be used as operating expense - including salaries (hopefully not more bonuses!). But I, for one, want us to continue to operate - so we need to fund that. Jalase's idea that we ought to hurt management as much as we can because we have lost so much money is - well, let me not use an inflammatory word here. I still assume that dilution is coming - after the reverse split - but this gives us some time and perhaps slightly lessens the amount. They are doing what they can.

My takeaway on this is someone who knows MARA well (perhaps intimately) is investing in its future even knowing the likely dilution ahead, and is at the same time helping to lessen near-term cash flow issues.

To me, that is a win. We need many more wins - and soon. But it is a win.

Thoughts?
