It's feast or famine with these mining companies, so they have to be nimble, most of the time the price for their products are cheap, so they have to be able to tighten their belts, and when prices are better they make mine expansions and good profits. This business is very cyclical though. I think the CEO's of these bigger mining companies could play the same game as the price manipulators if they wanted to. The problem is they want to keep their profits up so they can keep their jobs.

IMO we need gold above $1400 to start to see some money flow into the mining sector. We'll see our shares take off prior to that happening I hope.
