Daimler shut down its cell subsidiary Li-Tec last year, saying it simply wasn't economical to make cells itself in Germany.

We might be the only small player left in the world with actual experience and safety. And Gold your probably right we exported our tech to China because of the economical aspect but never received a dime in royalties??
