T trades happen when certificates have been deposited and are being traded (usually by Alpine), you’ll see shares going off at .0013 and then you’ll see a block go off at .001208 after hours.

So when retail sells shares they just print once, but when someone w/ a certificate sells since the clearing firm (usually Alpine) cannot be the MM for more than 100K shares they have to sell the shares to another MM (VFIN/VNDM/VERT) for .001208 and then VFIN moves the shares a few million at a time at .0013 making the difference as their “commission”. This is where the cross trades come from.
