Charting is baloney. Most claims of huge stock market success are likely embellished too. But anyone can look at a wiggly line or tea leaves and see SOMETHING. I'm still looking for academic research proving the value of charting.

Id go far as to say that many stock market success books are mostly fiction. Courts are very reluctant to get involved with reviewing the accuracy of books, a very slippery slope and one with all sorts of Freedom of Expression ramifications.

If the book is a fraud, I suppose you might be able to sue the author to get your purchase price back. But maybe not even that!

Are you aware of any funds that pick stocks exclusively with charts. I don't. If charting is so useful why don't such funds exist?
