I skimmed the abstract for that paper the other day. Not really sure what to think of it. Mitochondrial dysfunction could be good or bad. BAD, for example, if it is screwing up mitochondrial function in the entire tumor microenvironment. However, GOOD, for example, if dysfunctional tumors in mitochondria facilitate recruitment of immune cells (ie. macrophages, T) which then destroy the tumor.
