It's mainly about experienced judgment.
There is no exact way of telling you simply how I come out with my upside speculation areas, but one main thing I do is gauge each individual stocks's volatile ability & history.
Overall I apply certain type of trained judgment (developed from experience) which can't really be taught or fully explained in simple terms.

I also like to keep some things confidential that I do for analysis, criteria on stocks, etc.
But most important, I share the trades.
