Generation of electricity is as clean as people are determined to make it.

I think that Volvo is right.

To turn a generator, as I think you are referring to, all that needs to happen is to turn a generator. The ways of turning a generator are limited only by the human imagination.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. We have tides ripping through the Puget Sound constantly, rivers, wind, etc... power all over the place.

The problem is with storage of the electricity for an even grid with the huge fluctuations that occur, and transmission to where the electricity is needed, and to the storage in our vehicles.

Power plants do NOT need to be dirty.

Until the problems with electric storage in vehicles is solved hybrid electric will continue.

Will WPRT be part of that?
