I'll note that they are different in the following way: They put their money directly into the hands of the company rather than into the hands of other shareholders.
The fact that we've only had a few shares trade (i.e. under $900) worth and that after VNDM sold 193,290 they then moved up to $0.02 is worth noting.
And in putting their money directly into the hands of the company, they are then subject to a 12 mos wait, before they can remove the 144 Legend (Restriction). That sets them apart from other shareholders.
But on the day they are issued the 144 cert, those shares become part of the O/S and thus part of the valuation of the company, etc. So, no dilution to the existing share structure, just a removal of the 144 Legend.
