Hi Adam,
I have been looking at ETFs for AIM accounts. In fact, I have been reading a very interesting and informative book with a catchy title, Exchange-Traded Funds for Dummies, by Russell Wild. In the book, Wild discusses style investing versus building a portfolio using sector specific ETFs. I am torn between the two approaches. It may be that neither is really better than the other.
I would be curious to know what ETFs you bought and why. AIM theory says choose funds with high betas, yet the funds with high betas tend to be the leveraged funds. Right now I am giving strong consideration to a split between the S&P Small Cap 600 (IJR) and leveraging the Dow.
