As part of its strategy to become the No. 1 research Canadian cannabis oil research-driven product formulator, Algae Dynamics’ management team has assembled a strong team of scientific and strategic advisors that complement ongoing R&D relationships and initiatives. These advisors include Dr. Jonathan Blay PhD, FRSB, FIBMS, Csci, CBiol, who performs research and product development on cannabis oil and its constituents in the context of colorectum, pancreas, breast and prostate cancers; and Dr. Steven Laviolette, BSc, PhD, who performs research and product development on cannabis oil and its constituents in the context of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and schizophrenia.

Algae Dynamics' executive management team is as follows:

Co-founder and CEO Richard Rusiniak is a mechanical engineer with more than 30 years of management design and process experience. He is also the co-founder and former president, CFO and CTO of Cymat Corp (TSX: CYM), which had a market valuation over $150 million upon his resignation in 2002. Previous accomplishments include the negotiation of an Aluminum Foam Manufacturing license with Alcan International Ltd., and the successful commercialization of the technology. Rusiniak also completed a $10 million technology development program with Industry Canada (TPC), and participated in the completion of $25 million in financing with financial institutions.

Co-founder and president Paul Ramsay (BBA) brings more than 25 years of business development and management experience to the table. As the co-founder and former CEO and VP Business Development of Cymat Corp, (TSX: CYM), Ramsay was instrumental in securing the Stabilized Aluminum Foam (SAF) license from Alcan International Ltd., among other achievements.

Algae Dynamics CFO Ross Eastley (CA) has more than 30 years of accounting and CFO experience in the private and public sectors. He was formerly the CEO of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (2006 – 2009), where he reported to a nine-member board and was responsible for strategic planning, corporate communications, initial regulatory functions and management of legal processes.
