I don't see what they think Kevin (the old dude) is going to bring to the table though. I like your idea about him being a producer's father.

As for Paul, they called him a "fan favorite" so they do want to keep him on. Since a lot of the time houseguests try to evict returnees quickly I guess they figured this would keep him on a bit longer.

The fact that someone left early makes it pretty definite that they will bring someone back who gets kicked out.
