Is Donald Trump a real psychopath or just a bit of a tweet?

I devised a psychopath test to see where famous faces feature on the psychopathic spectrum – and Donald Trump topped Adolf Hitler.

Trump’s recent acts of impulsivity, such as the CNN and facelift tweets, show arrogance and narcissism, components of the psychopathic spectrum.

The traits of a psychopath that Trump possesses – ruthlessness, fearlessness, self-confidence, focus, coolness under pressure and charm – are like dials that you can turn up and down.

Another of those dials he has is impulsivity, a very toxic dial indeed. But psychopaths are also great manipulators. And by saying in a recent tweet that his “use of social media is not Presidential - it’s MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL”, he is using that characteristic to attempt to redefine the presidency.

So he may be using his seeming impulsivity as part of a calculated strategy. However, this impulsivity could also be uncontrolled bedlam.

Either way, impulsivity is dangerous. But I don’t think it’s dangerous for the US in terms of Trump having his finger on the nuclear button, or his international diplomatic relations, because the democratic process will prevent anything dangerous happening.
