Chicken manure, horse manure, cow manure, seaweed....
Grass clippings, coffee grounds, sheeps blood and comfrey -
Those once were my composting Nitrogen ingredients.

Alder leaves, Maple leaves, Wood chips, Straw,
Plus anything else that was brown was my Carbon

Then I just added Water and man - Holey cow - Was it ever heating on up !

8 days later I turned the works and then turned it again in another 10 days

Again for good measure, about 10 days later, I turned it just one more time....

About one month later.....

I purchased some perennials and stuck them into that pile....

Where they tripled in size in like, under a week !

At least that is what I found when I once tried composting....

I should do more of it 'cause that was unreal....

Problem is in finding the time.....

And the sheet metal....

I had some old sheet metal rolls back then (from an old swimming pool),
Which made it all really easy work.

I made approximately a dump-truck loads' worth of the stuff (which I transported to my landscaping/gardening clients' yards)

The piles were held together by a simple rope (same principle as the white band seen around the pool pictured above)
