Two new studies found by bigbasslur>>

1. RIBT New study out about "Heat-stabilised rice bran consumption by colorectal cancer survivors modulates stool metabolite profiles and metabolic networks: a randomised controlled trial"

This was done by Elizabeth Warren and Colorado State University. In the past The Gates Foundation funded her for rice bran studies and my guess is the foundation still is funding it.

2. Antioxidant potential of rice bran and vegetable waste
powders incorporated extrudates

A fellow RIBT researcher just found this>>>

Snippet:
Total phenolic content showed maximum
percent inhibition for stabilised rice bran at 71.51% and for cauliflower trimmings powder at 71.52% in
scavenging the free radicals by DPPH method using methanol extracts. The stabilized rice bran extract
had significantly higher (p<0.05) antioxidant potential with IC50 of 6.94 mg/ml.
