"shorts" didn't throw anything anywhere. It was MMs that executed the buy and sell trades for ordinary retail not shorts.

The mechanism may not be understood but the results are all that matters. The stock will continue to adjust to the new fundamentals of the company and what transpired after the R/S.

But if anyone wants to understand the whole daily short/short interest issue, they can go to FINRA for an explanation.

You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him get down on one knee and do an Al Jolson impression!
