HODL the new ideology.

not sure how embedded in crypto others here are, but speaking for myself as a 2012 gold bug and a 2012 bitcoin investor, it is patently obvious that the core ideology among crypto advocates is that cashing out and running isn't an option.

will remain to be seen what kind of stomachs these folks have if prices dive further. the same cannot be said for the gold people. the asset is crushed, the miners are struggling, there are steep environmental costs with gold, you know the story.

gold will always be out there, for the conservatives, but for the next generation gold is just a punchline. it kitschy, its gaudy, its the sort of silliness of the Vatican, Trump Towers, or Mr. T
