Good grief.

The original argument put forward was that because Colonel Sanders grew to be an old successful businessman, that somehow speaks to Seymour in some way, in spite of his being an old unsuccessful businessman.

As if the common condition of humans growing old sheds insight into Seymour's proven lack of business acumen, or gives hope that Seymour might spontaneously develop the skills and knowledge required to successfully develop drugs and run a company in the last few years of his life.

There couldn't be two more unlike and incomparable people than Colonel Sanders and Eugene Seymour.
