A patent is to protect BVTK, not to protect
the other parties to the contract. So if someone
is requiring the patent to be approved before
signing the contract, it would be BVTK, not the
DOD, HS, etc., and BVTK could tie up the tech with
confidentiality clauses in the contracts so I do not
see that connection.
