I figured I'd get some heat on my 'long-shot legit' comment. I don't consider those companies to automatically be scams just because they are long shots and rely on all kinds of capital to grow--some of them even toxic capital. If a company is really trying to grow and raises money in a way that doesn't repeatedly go down the toxic road, I think of them as legitimate.

I consider FUSZ to be a long shot legitimate company. They even have a small toxic note that was due June 15 (I don't know its status).

I don't consider it to be a scam because I believe they are working hard to build the business and have been upfront with shareholders on how they are doing it. In addition so far the funding approaches have been fairly shareholder friendly, with the CEO shouldering much of the burden. If this toxic note ends up being toxic I may change my opinion. There have been very long delays which have pushed my patience to the limit, but I still 'believe' they are sincere. Re whether they actually succeed, I don't believe yet - I require real revenues (prob around $1m or so) before I'll be convinced of that.
