I've often thought some up&coming doctoral psychologist candidate could do his/her thesis on the human psychology of Microcrap "investors". Imagine the fun of analyzing the psychology that goes into the herd mentality, catchy slogans, "conspiracies". How various groups react as the scam unfolds. Retail traders playing the equivalent of musical chair chicken in the middle of an interstate highway, with each other. Is there any limit to how ridiculous the scam angles can be when money is involved? What does it take for a dreamer to realize they are being scammed by the insiders, and deceived by other posters? Do the dreamers want to hear an evil basher like myself or others on the DD forum tell them they are invested in a scam, or one of the pumpers to tell them they will be soon be realizing their dream? Yet more material to explore for some PhD Psychology thesis.
