This "manipulation" in HD Stock is really odd to say the least. Given the PPS we see a short/buy/sell/buy like some much lesser priced equities! The good news is the fundamentals are certainly there in HD so the Stock has "legs", which to those of us with many years in this market, and others, know it is simply that, manipulation. The shorts buy back their shorted shares at a lower PPS. Using HFT exchanges, they get a "rebate" of .03 cents per share per trade. Direction of trade is meaningless. Talk about a cash cow!
\Been happening to stocks in financial sector sine Obuma and Dodd-Frank messed up the financial equities. Fortunately BAC will spike soon as Dodd-Frank is going away perhaps in total. Regardless, money will be available soon to boost our Economy!
