Given that Bellissima is made by someone whose main business is cheap prosecco for the European market, and that it is DOC and not DOCG, the benchmark is entriely appropriate.

Considering La Marca to be the Budweiser of proseccos is actually a pretty good analogy. In that case, Bellissima is comparable to Rolling Rock: an unremarkable product on its own, inexplicably branded as "edgy," and given a price way out of keeping with the actual product (outside of Rolling Rock's core market, anyways).
