I certainly hope so. I talked to an IP attorney who is now clerking for a federal judge (my son). He said that the number of stays a federal court will allow is up to the court's discretion. The fact that the request for another stay was followed-up this time (after the third request) with an order to report "no later than August 3", seems to imply that their discretion/patience is at an end.

I suspect that C&C knew full well how far (how many requests for stays) they could push the Federal Circuit for as they have appeared before it many times. So this in combination with the weird date (falling on a Thursday instead of the standard Friday with its associated wiggle room) implies to me that C&C knew that an order to report on that date would follow without exception; no "ifs ands or buts". And C&C/KK and the parties are prepared to do so.

All of this increases my hope/expectation that we will hear something substantive on or before August 3, 2017. I increased my position by 5% this past week and intend to add another 3 - 5% more this coming week.
