Remember when they were trying to pass Obamacare they had to make deals with Nebraska - the "Cornhusker Kickback" and the "Louisiana Purchase".

To help win the vote of Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., the massive measure the Senate passed on Christmas Eve had included $100 million that only Nebraska would get in added federal Medicaid assistance.

Landrieu agreed to vote for the bill with a $200 MILLION in federal funding for Louisiana's Medicaid program. Except that, due to a drafting error, the law ended up giving Louisiana $4.3 billion in extra Medicaid funds -- more than twenty times the assigned amount. She had asked for additional funding due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina.

Rep. Bart Gordon, D-Tenn. got an additional $99 million in 2012 and 2013 for Tennessee hospitals.

Baucus got 2,900 residents of Libby, Mont., able to qualify for Medicare benefits. Some of them have asbestos-related diseases from a now-shuttered mine.

That's how Harry Reid got his 60 votes, with kickbacks/bribes!
