I can't verify for certain, but I believe that to apply for a grow license, or have a realistic chance of getting one, you need to have a running operation (i.e. a facility ready to grow) as opposed to a guy off the street just applying for a license to grow hemp/mj. The purchase of the greenhouse facility puts them an advantageous position to get a license. I really believe the guys at PURA and USMJ know what they are doing and are executing beautifully.
